1) Southampton Links
Coming to Spurs, Mauricio Pochettino improved many players individually, and in the process of doing that, he built some great relationships with some of the players at Southampton. This could possibly lure some of them to White Hart Lane. Adam Lallana has been recently linked with a move to Spurs. Pochettino could bring a few more players from Southampton to Spurs, this would be a good thing, as I rate some of the players quite highly.
2) Attacking Football
In an opening statement to the Spurs website, Daniel Levy said that Pochettino embraced the style of play associated with our club (or something similar to that) which is attacking football. Over the last season I genuinly enjoyed watching Southampton and they would entertain you with some fantastic football, hopefully Pochettino can do the same for us at Spurs.
3) Erik Lamela
Last summer Erik Lamela arrived at Spurs for a club record fee of £30m. Since his arrival, he has really struggled to adapt to to life in England and English football. A back injury suffered in late December has not helped either, that kept him out until next season. Who could possibly help him? We all ask. Step forward new manager Mauricio Pochettino. Being Argentinian, Mauricio knows just how Erik feels trying to adapt to life in England. Hopefully Mauricio can help him settle in and bring the best out of Lamela.
Hopefully Pochettino can be a good manager at Spurs and lead us to a very successful future.
